We went back twice in our short stay in oia because we were craving the mousakka so badly. Make sure you order it!! Amazing views too and salads.

“Nice view, terrible food”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

We came to sit here because our rented home is right below and the place seemed like it had a nice vibe with attractive menu. We ordered Santorinia salad and sole fish and chicken souvlaki. Everything arrived and tasted like it was made by a non-Greek. The feta cheese was cut in such big cubes that it wasn't edible as it made everything too salty, and so were the crutons - so big and so sharp that they cut my gum. The rice that came as side was terrible tasting, I could go on.

There was only one waitress who seemed to be doing everything from taking orders and serving. Luckily when we came there were just a few tables but that still took her a very long time to get round to us. Cannot imagine what it would be like if the place was full.

All in all, if you want a nice view, I would come here and order water or a coke. Safest bet.

“Views, Service, and Charm”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

We found Lotza's just strolling the sidewalks and noticed their amazing views. We hoped their food would match their world-class views and it sure did. The best Moussaka on the island. Everything tasted home cooked with love. Family owned and operated. Ali was our server, and she was great fun. Enjoy a relaxed, view inspired lunch or dinner.

“Wonderful Lunch!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

We picked this place for the views and were pleasantly surprised that the food and service were both wonderful too! We appreciated that it was able to be a quick and delicious meal, but it would have also been a great place to linger all afternoon!

“Terrific view, service and food was good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

Enticed in by the roof terrace and the reasonable food prices, this was a great place for people watching and seeing the last of the sunset sky. A bride and groom plus photographers added to the unusual nature of this restaurant as did the "waiter" in the hoodie and sunglasses. Service was good, very helpful staff and the food - a spicy feta mousse dip with fresh bread that we shared as a starter then lemon sole fried in butter which was very good and tuna salad, both satisfied the taste buds as main course. All washed down with a couple of glasses of Santorini wine in a quirky but very welcoming setting made this a meal to remember. I look forward to going back the next time we visit Oia.
