“Great view, food and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014 via mobile

A very nice place to spend some time just before sunset. You will see it perfect from the top of the city tarace. We have tried most of the appetizers there and they were delicious. The service was also very nice along with the prices. Definitely a place to pop in.

“Roll me home after lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

We ducked in here (here is the third floor) of a restaurant we missed yesterday because of the hurricane that blew through. Today was just tornados winds. We were going light today, so we stayed with appetizers. Grilled sardines, grilled calamari and fried tomato fritters. Are you kidding me? After getting Huge portions of all these, we noticed 4 other tables ordering the same thing. What did they know? Just that these dishes were so flipping good that you would arm wrestle your loved ones for the last bite. Not only delicious, but cooked to my taste's concept of perfection. If you don't like calamari tentacles crunchy, you better tell them in advance. In my world crunchy calamari ranks up there with crispy lamb chops and walks along the beach with your significant other . There should be a 4.5 because this is where pelekanos ranks. No negatives at all.

“The perfect lunch for a perfect day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014

After a long hike from Fira, our family was welcomed by the staff of Pelekanos with a spectacular table overlooking the caldera. This family-owned and run restaurant serves beautiful food in an exquisite setting. We will remember our day in Santorini for many years on account of the service and attention of Mr Pelekanos and his children and staff. Thank you for a life long memory.

“Yum. And the view was better!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2014 via mobile

The food was great (aglio e olio / carbonara / corn bread / milk chocolate crepes) and the view was to die for (both caldera and Mediterranean view from the rooftop!) We watched the sunset with a cappuccino...

And... The price was right! The service was friendly and attentive (which is saying something).

“Great view, better food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Had lunch on a windy afternoon and the view from the terrace is amazing. May be the highest spot in Oia. The staff treated us like longtime customers. The prices were very reasonable and the food was wonderful. We shared the second and third main courses, can't remember the names, but one was a delicious vegetarian dish and the other was some Santorini burgers, but really seemed more like fabulous pickle shaped meatballs! The waitress suggested we try a Greek Frappe, which was great after the meal. Highly recommended.
