The view of the sunset was beautiful if you happen to get one of the few tables that get the view from your table. The baked octopus was soggy and bland bland bland. Pasta was also bland as was the swordfish dish which was way overpriced- it came with 2 small pieces of cold vegetable. Very disappointing and too over-priced.

After visiting Crete just before arriving to Santorini, we have been so disappointed with the food - it lacks flavor, is overpriced and is clearly catering toward droves of tourists. However, Kyprida is different. We ate there for lunch (there were 4 of us) and ordered about 7 dishes - all of which were fresh, flavorful, creative and delicious. We ordered fresh salad, tzatiki, lentil and rice salad, grilled vegetables with halumi cheese, traditional Greek meatball plate, and bean salad. The restaurant is a block off the main drag in Oia which was also a treat because it was peaceful and calm. When you visit Santorini be sure to eat here. The owner is a lovely French gentleman (Jean-Luc) and his wife. Amazing food, great service and fantastic value!

We went to this restaurant last week on our last evening in santorini hoping for a great goodbye meal (cypriot cusine)after seeing topadvisors reviews.
The atmosphere was quite nice with nice live greek music and very polite and pleasant waitress - owner welcoming us. We decided to order the meze menu for 2 that was 60 euros with 15 plates being served. We havent eaten all day so we ordered the most expensive thing on the menu hoping for a great meal.
After waiting for 20 minutes the starter came with the waitress asking us not to eat to much bread because too much food is coming. The starter tasted ok (4 very small plates ) .Then we had to wait another 20 minutes for another plate to arrive(2nd plate was ok again just 2 mouthful) .And thats how the rest of the night continued. A new plate every 20 minutes that we ate in 1 minute ( so small quantity) The food was tastefool though. When we complaint to the waitress that the plates arrived very slowly she said that the meze was like this lot of plates arriving one at a time(cypriot meze).of course nowhere else you eat a meze with so much delay between plates and so small quantity.
At the end the lady owner arrived saying us that this plate is the last one and if we were all ready ful with all that food.At that time i was feeling like i just finished the starters.I thought that she was going to bring 15 plates like the menu said instead she brought 6 plates i think that each one had 2 or 3 different food incide with just a bit from each food.
I told her that we almost left there hungry that didnt seem to annoy her at all.
To conclude we left there still a bit hungry having paid 75 euros for 2 person. The food was ok but the quantity of the food the slowest service at the highest price made me left there angry feeling riped off.
Dont go there its a tourist trap

We went there on recommendation from a shop owner in town. She had mentioned for traditional Greek music come to Kyprida on a Wednesday night and you will hear a terrific group. So glad we did for it was the only traditional Greek music we experienced on our trip. The food was delicious with fresh ingredients. Service was very helpful. Great spot especially on a Wednesday night!
