As the first 4 restaurants on the TA list in Etretat were closed we chose this one as the menu looked quite nice although a bit pricey. We waited a little while to be served but once the food was there it was definitely worth the wait & the price. The fish & the wine were organic, served with tasty steamed vegetables & home-made bread. The wine list was top quality. The decor is very Elizabethan in a very attractive historic building.

We were attracted by the external aspect of this typical house. We should have stayed outside. Inside the service was so slow. We were there only for a drink in the afternoon. But i don't expect to come back for a lunch or a dinner. And this was in winter, so i cannot imagine what it is in summer.

Wandered round looking for a good place for dinner in the evening - this restaurant very busy but the menu/pricing/outdoor area looked inviting. Waitress very helpful - had to wait awhile but food good - husband loved his steak, I had some kind of organic grain thing which was OK (I was being experimental!) but probably wouldn't have again.
Pleasant enough overall - a good average. Passing by at lunchtime the next day it was still busy so obviously popular - the fantastic wood panelled building might have something to do with the appeal!

Really good food, nice wines, nice ambiance. Very busy so probably wise to pre-book a table. Centrally located in mid-town

The waiters were darlings but the food was a disaster ....
ordered mussels which were overcooked and dry... the replacement instead which i ordered (really nice that there was no discussion about it) was a camembert from the oven ... was so lalaa the cheese was already a bit too old and covered with bread crumbs, my partner had a tempeh burger( we were so happy about the nice vegetarian menus on the menu!) which was maybe the idea of a burger Oo bread with tempeh and sauce ? the salad was dished al over the plate but not on the burger .... no cucumber,no onions, no other nice pickles or stuff like that? kind of the last dinners we had in France where absolutely the opposite of that !pity!
