Stayed here for 4 nights at the start of May. The house is perfectly situated right in the heart of Capestang. It is close to the square where there are a few restaurants and also a fantastic bakery. there is a great wine bar practically on the doorstep (le 7/15) and our all time favourite restaurant (la Galiniere) is a 5 minute walk away. The house is as advertised and is clean and in a quiet yet central location. Facilities and plenty of untensils etc if you wish to cook. There is also a lovely terrace at the top of the house where we enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks. During our short visit to region we visited Minerve, Lagrasse and Pezenas. We also found time to enjoy walks along the Canal to Midi which is a short walk away and hired a boat out. This is a lovely part of France and I would recommend this property if visiting the area.
A charming and well presented French village house, in a character French village. The house is comfortable and all the facilities we needed, not that we needed much, we were only able to spend a week there. The village has 2 supermarkets, if you want to self cater, several restaurants, if you don't, we did both. The excellent friendly Boulangerie, was a delight, only steps from the door.
Capestang is quaint and quiet, with a few places for a drink, but not what you would call lively.
The friendly owners welcomed us, and left some essentials, milk fruit,
and a nice bottle of Red !
