Passing the more obvious restaurants at the entry to the village, we were delighted to find this little gem. The restaurant opens onto a walled garden with the terraces providing the most magnificent view to accompany lunch. The menu offers fresh and filling tapas, salads and desserts, all decorated with herbs and edible flowers picked fresh from the garden. Wait staff were helpful and charming, and the facilities spotless. We can highly recommend A Casarella

Part of our tour of the Corsican villages.. This little stop off is certainly hidden, but a little gem serving tapas dishes. Set in a rustic location but offering views designed to make you want to spend the day here. Homemade iced tea adds a thirst quenching taste. Tapas choice could be of more variety, but it you're not after a full meal this certainly fills the gap. For the sweet toothed amongst our group, the two desserts on offer kept things simple. English is spoken by our waiter who worked hard to keep the constant stream of patrons happy. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Having read other reviews we were going to choose the 10 dish option at 47 euros. However, the waiter advised us that a total of 6 dishes would be enough for the two of us. As it turned out, this was good advice. The dishes were all excellent and the view of the sunset from the terrace was amazing.

Delicious tapas in a spectacularly beautiful, romantic and peaceful setting. Friendly and attentive staff. And the view from the restaurant is fabulous.

A village as if you walk in a painting.
A Casarella is a gem. Make a reservation if you want to watch the sunset so you have the best seat AND bring your mosquito repellant.
The tapas the drinks the staff make it such a wonderful experience. We come here each year just to enjoy the silence ....
