Lovely day spent sailing and snorkelling with Safari Blue. The guides were great as was the seafood BBQ on the beach. A delightful day spent on the water.

What a great day out for a reasonable price. Great snorkeling and and a visit to a white sandbank. After that a fish lunch on an island. And sailing back on a dow.

Dhow!!!, sailing on a dhow it is a liberating experience. There is something about these rustic wooden vessels that instantly tunes in with the free-spirited.The marine life that the Indian Ocean nurtures it is simply breathtaking! We were lucky enough to see dolphins during the trip too. I felt extremely well looked after by the Blue Safari Crew they are friendly and pretty cool! It was my first time snorkeling.I was given the right instructions and felt safe all the time.
I believe it must be compulsory in attractions as such to communicate genuine care for the environment. Our charismatic "Lindy dhow" captain remind us all: -Do not take anything away with you please. What belongs to the sea, stays in the sea.
There were plenty of drinks on board to keep hydrated and a marquee provided shade during the hottest hours, I also truly thanked the fruit they offer us.The food we enjoyed once ashore was very tasty.
It took us roughly a good part of the day, we were based at the wonderful Dar House on the East side of the island, about 45 mins away by car. Overall was a fabulous excursion, one that offers you the chance to be very close to pure nature and that is priceless.
