We were looking for a B&B for a stay in Paternoster while exploring the West Coast and so we stayed for a night. The house in in the second (or maybe third) line to the ocean can not be seen directly, but this was quite ok. The room was very spacious and clean. We requested a upstairs room under the open truss which was no problem.
The reception (by the son (?) of the owner) was very friendly and also the question for a reservation in a restaurant (he recommended the "Voorstrand" - delicious!) was no problem at all and confimed by him a little bit later.
Breakfast was authentic, rich and fresh prepareted and quickly served. This is provided by the neighbour guesthouse "Mosselbank B&B", which manages the Schoonerklip house for its owner.
The house is near to the beach, which is fantastic for a walk and enjoying the salty wind.
There are a lot of guesthouses in Paternoster without catering - but when you want an nice accomodation with a good breakfast - Schoonerklip & Mosselbank is a good choice.
