I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Nungubane Reserve. This was my second visit. It is more than worth the 21 hours of flight time to South Africa from Los Angeles. I'm not sure what I enjoy the most; the animals, the lodge, my chalet, the food, the quiet by the hide, or the marvelous guides, chefs, and host. A lion with his wildebeast dinner, rhinos with their babies, elephants pulling down trees, giraffes in a stately "parade", beautiful birds, monkeys swinging free...
Nungubane is a delight from the moment you arrive until the sad time when you leave. It's just grand and I can't wait to come again.More
