The staff can be rude to guests at times, including the owner. One of our cabins had a light fixture right on top of the ladder to the bunk bed. It was hanging there with exposed wires! Maintanace said it was like that for months. Def a fire hazzard. The kitchen sink was old, stained & gross. Its not something I would keep even in my basement. I'm sure it could be replaced for $100. The stove has caked on food on it. The futon which was needed to sleep on was broken. The medal support under the cushions were broken so when you sit on it, you sink to the floor. Def a hazzard if you sit on one of those. The bathroom was filthy. Smelled of urine, hairs all over, toilet seat caked with (I dont want to think about it.) I cleaned the shower as well & black dirt was running down the walls of shower. The curtain in one of the bedrooms didn't cover 2 inches of the window on the bottom. Was told no one has ever complained about this before. Really??? The cabin was facing the central location of the park, where the dance, pool & playground are.But the curtain was replaced with a longer one.For their most expensive cabin I would expect more. The owner was rude & offered nothing in compensation for our troubles. We felt like we had to defend ourselves to get simple amenities that are standard. Feeling like we being accused of breaking things as well. But how could we have when we were in the cabin for more than 5 minutes?The other cabin we stayed in wasnt as dirty but had a broken tv & door lock. We noticed this late at night. When we informed them they did fix it right away. Other than that we managed to have a great time. It was a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the deeper pool. It was a bit cold but bearable. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow. The dance with the dj was awesome. We had a birthday celebration, that was great. The cake was impressive both with decoration & taste. Mike, the guy who comes with the characters to deliver the cake was kid friendly. He's awesome. The price for the the stay is a little steep but I'd be willing to spend that if cleanliness & upkeep of the cabins amenities in them were kept up. I would stay again if some of the staff & owners took some customer service classes. All in all we tried our best & enjoyed the rest of our vacation.
