The colorful wicker decorations in the public areas are amazingly beautiful, and the pool area is quiet, comfortable and tranquil. The menu for lunch and dinner are limited, but the selection was more than adequate and the food was excellent. The rooms are comfortable and well stocked We enjoyed our short stay here.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Les Paletuviers in Toubakouta, Saloum while we stayed at a nearby resort where we were birding from.

What a fantastic atmosphere and location. Their restaurant is wonderful and has whimsical curved and colourful chairs that break up the rest of the decor which is understated and elegant.

We are in the industry so we also had a look at the rooms and pool while we were there. Everything was wonderful. This resort is the most expensive place to stay in Toubakouta but I would thoroughly recommend it. Beautiful.

If you are looking for paradise in Senegal, this is the place to go. It is designed with charm and safety and is very child friendly. The activities are well thought: fishing, boat balades in the mangrove, visits to local villages, traditional spectacles...
The food is excellent. You will have oysters directly from the sea to your plates. Ask for langoustes or take the boat to buy yourself your oysters directly from the fisherwomen.
Ask for Amy in the hotel: she is of great help.
The staff is fantastic.
This is the ultimate - enjoy!

We spent about a week at the hotel. We found the food to be very good, the service was excellent, and the facilities were quite nice. The activities, although quite expensive, were very nice as well. You really have to get out into the Delta to experience how great this place is. However our favorite part of the trip was simply sitting on the Terrace and overlooking the delta through the baobab trees.

The facility is a bit old and you can see this in the rooms and the gardens. While they are beautiful they are a tad bit run down. However the hotel ownership is clearly trying to take care of it and everything worked very well. The beds are comfortable and the rooms had some neat little style elements that were cool.

The garden was beautiful but the grass was all brown and it would have been just perfect if they had green grass. The pool is beautiful as well but the tiles are coming off and prevent a little bit of a safety hazard as they are sharp. However, the hotel is aware of this and is planning to look into it.

We will definitely go back and will recommend this to all of our friends.
