First time we (2 of us) went to O Cocktail Friday evening, it was completely full though we managed to find a table close to the stage. Even I was afraid that it would be very loud it was ok and moreover those guys (the band of 3) made me fall in love with their music that I even forgot that actually we came to eat there. We asked for 2 lobsters (soaked and grilled), they were really nice though we coldn't enjoyed the process of 'arranging' the lobster with cracker (which was missed for the following reason) because it was already made to eat and cracked in pieces. They gave a LOT of garnish for lobster (rice, vegetables, fried potato - everything in big portions). We also have a bottle of local wine (Chã de Fogo), water and desserts (we took papaya crema and papaya with goat cheese - both very tasty!) - total bill for 69 euro (incl. wine for 15 euro/bottle) which is quite ok for the quality of food and really incredible music. Talking about service I should say that the guy who served us was very nice, friendly (he even managed to talk with us a little about this and that) so we're really pleased with him but the whole impression of the restaurant is that they miss 2-4 more waiters - this guy and some girls were really trying to do their best to serve all clients but you can guess how it is if there are 100 (I can guess it was!) people and 3-4 waiters only to make everybody pleased.
The next day when we passed by O Cocktail quite late just to catch a slice of pizza we found out that again the place was full, the waiters running between the tables (we even saw some irritated clients demanding the proper service). The guy who served us the night before found us a table which we shared with a family who we thought was waiting very long to order smth. OK, as it's just pizza we got it quite fast and it was really great (the one with seafood). The music was a bit different from the Friday's evening but still very good.
Overall impression is very good really, but if any manager of O Cocktail reads this one day I kindly ask you to put some more waiters to the restaurants, it'll make your place much better! and if anyone tells me how to find out the name of the band of those 3 guys I'll be more than grateful! :)
