Just "around the corner" from Gore Mountain, this is our go-to place for a great burger & a good selection of beers.

“Birthday Celebration”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

Jane, the owner at Basil & Wicks made sure we celebrated a 30th birthday well-she provided balloons at the table and made sure our table was reserved for us.

The food was fantastic!

“Excellent place to eat near Gore Mountain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

Great food at a reasonable price! My wife and I liked the food so much the first night we ate dinner there that we went back the next night. The restaurant is very roomy and friendly. No waiting line for dinner the Friday and Saturday night that we ate there. Service was great.

“Approved!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

Terrific spot for a casual dinner with friends, a quick bite after skiing or drinks at the bar while watching a big game. We went for dinner after skiing all day and thought it was terrific. It is clean and fresh, and the lodge-like decor fits the area. The service was good and the food was tasty and well prepared. The waitstaff was accommodating as one friend asked for a Tom Collins in a kiddie-cup as a joke for another friend, and they did it without question. The BBQ port cigars were a big hit and the mashed potatoes are homemade. Bonus points for the ghiradelli brownie sundae too.

“Delicious Burger”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

We came here for dinner after a long drive up to go skiing at Gore after getting a recommendation from our hotels front desk receptionist.
The place was very busy on the Thursday night after Christmas, but we were seated by within 15 minutes of arriving. We all went for the burgers, which were all cooked to perfection, and my wife and I both had a frosty Ubu Ale.
A solid place in the area for a bite to eat.
