Stayed at Holiday Inn over Labor Day weekend, my 2nd time staying at this Holiday Inn. First off, the location on the US side is excellent. You can walk to the falls in 5 minutes, or walk the other way to the Seneca Niagara Casino in 5 minutes. Arrived at hotel in the evening, there was no line at the front desk and the service was friendly and helpful. Got to our room and there was an unfortunate chemical odor in the room. Called and requested another room, despite a sign on the hotel saying they were sold out they were able to move us to another room without a problem. The second room was much better smelling, was very clean and modern, and even had a sizable fridge that we were able to make use of during our stay. The night before our departure, my friend who drove us to the area was having car problems and needed to take his car to a shop to have it looked at. We called the front desk and asked for a late check out of 1pm, which they gave us without a problem. Despite the US side of Niagara Falls having much less to do than the Canadian side, if you're looking for a place to stay the Holiday Inn is a good choice. Definitely recommended.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 11 and 13) who stayed for 2 nights. The whole of Niagara is in need of some love and attention, so this hotel fits in quite nicely!!!
When you walk into the reception area all you can smell is chlorine, as there is no door shutting off the pool!
The pool area was fine - the children enjoyed it. You can swim till 11pm and there are towels provided. The gym was terrible and needed lots of new equipment.
The room was fine, with 2 double beds and an average sized bathroom, but no fridge. We all slept well, so noise was not a problem. It just all looked a bit tired.
We had breakfast and dinner one night in the restaurant, (we couldn't find anywhere else to eat, apart from indian, that we particularly liked!!) both of which were good.
The hotel is very close to the Falls, so the location is great.
Would I stay here again?? I would not stay in Niagara again!! The Falls are stunning and beautiful, but unfortunately, the town isn't. It's only a 30 minute bus ride from Buffalo - I'd stay there and do the Falls in a day. Sorry!

Outdated, dirty hotel. Reasons for choosing: Price, location, indoor pool and arcade for kids. Location was the only thing that proved to be as stated, as our reason for visit was to see the falls. 1/2 the games in arcade either didn't work or took your money and wouldn't work. Pool was ok, but there was a very young couple who appeared to be on honeymoon and I couldn't allow my kids to stay and "watch the show" when they decided to remain in the pool area after we suggested they take it up to their room. Hotel staff stated that NF is a honeymoon destination and did not appear to want to take action. Room had tiny ants and a few other type bugs flying around and air conditioner in room did not work. Spend a couple extra $$ if you can afford and stay
somewhere else.

My sister and I booked this hotel with confidence because it's a Holiday Inn. I must say we actually thought about leaving because the place is so filthy. There was no air conditioning in the lobby or hallways and the place was absolutely filthy! I would never return. We didn't even want to get a coffee from the place in the lobby for fear that the equipment would not be clean. Don't waste your money. Yes, the location is great but that's it!
