the restuarant was ok at best. Not very big and way to dimly lighted. The menu looks upscale and is very limited. Not great for children as it is pricey. Burers were great, however, not much else to offer. All othe dishes were close to 20 per plate. Kids eat free for breakas if you dine in, but not for room service.
Staff was friendly.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night, and we were so tired and read all the reviews for places to eat and decided to stay in and eat at the hotel. The food and service were excellent. The warm hot bread, made to order for each table is a nice touch, just ask for some olive oil to dip into instead of butter. Everyone's meal was very good, and do get the salmon. The portions are very large, so families should plan ahead and spilt the entrees. The chicken dish was great, no complaints, a nice find in this hotel! A real hidden gem!

I was surprised to see that this restaurant didn't have a higher ranking and was surprised to find only one review (maybe because it's in a hotel??) Oh, I just read somewhere else that they recently got a new chef. Anyway, we opted to eat here because we were able to get a $25 coupon from an on-line site and I thought the menu looked good. The warm bread that proceeded our meal was absolutely delicious! The wings we got as appetizers were also good. But the entree was definitely the best part- my husband and daughter got salmon topped with crabmeat served with rice pilaf and asparagus. My other daughter got (and finished!) the steak and she said the smashed potatoes were the yummiest potatoes she ever had. I had the best entree- Little Dan's big pasta which was WHOLE WHEAT ziti, spinach, (peppers but I ordered this without), and tons of Andoulle sausage in a creamy cajun sauce-- DELICIOUS! My 11 year old who shuns whole wheat everything couldn't keep her fork out of my pasta (and this was after she polished off a strip steak). Huge portion! Took half home and ate it for breakfast the next day- that's how good it was... couldn't even wait 'til lunchtime! The only downside was that the calamari seemed "fake"- didn't have the texture of real calamari. I've read that you can buy "calamari" manufactured out of calamari pieces- maybe that's what this is. Tasted good- I asked for some marinara since I don't like aioli and the sauce was so good, I ate the rest of it with a spoon (much to the horror of my family!) Give this place a try!
