“Not a must see”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

we went there just because we had bought a discover pass. I loved a few displays(amazon underwater/fishes from the past) in the aquarium and the seal show, otherwise this is a small boring place. It smells awfully inside and i'm not sure why it is so. If you are planning to walk from the maid of the mist to the aquarium please be sure you want to do it. As it might disappoint you after a long walk. If you still want to do it take the tram.

“Great aquarium! Amazing Sea Lion Show!”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Although the aquarium is small, the exhibits are well maintained and offer a great variety of marine life. The penguins are so cute, and the sea lions really do steal the show. The Sea Lion Show is not to be missed, a definite highlight of the Aquarium. The trainers very clearly love what they are doing and it shows! Can't wait to visit again!

“Horrible and not worth the money!”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

This attraction was horrible. When we pulled up at the Aquarium my husband looked at me and I looked at him. It was super small on the outside and the area it is in looks really rundown. It's close to the river but it's past the falls. We decided to go in anyway because it was raining so we had planned to do indoor activities that day. Wow, should have went with our gut! When you open the door, a horrible smell slaps you in the face,,,almost like rotten fish and fish food! Once you get past the odor, you come to the ticket counter and then proceed left to the penguins. I think the penguins, sharks, and the seal tank were the best things in there. We had walked the whole aquarium and was out in less than an hour. And we spent $40 for that? Don't waste your time. You could spend that same $40 on something better (Cave of the Winds, Mist of the Maid, etc)

“Okay place”
Reviewed October 15, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Not even close to an average aquarium experience.
Not worth the entrance fee.
The aquarium has an oversized giftshop which makes the entrance/exit too crowded.

“Nice little aquarium”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

A little bit off the path of the Falls but I felt worth the trip. We actually walked from our hotel (Sheraton on 3rd street), and were a bit tired when we arrived. The signage to get there could be a lot better, but the Aquarium itself was nice. Had a GREAT 20 min seal show, which was the high light of the aqur. Very cool shark display as well. American side does not have too many attractions so if you are here for more than one day, you should probably work this in to you trip to eat up some time.
