The staff was wonderful, they were helpful, friendly, polite, knowledgeable. We could tell they loved what they do for a living. Some of the staff are volunteers, not sure if they are there just for the summer or not. The animal shows are great. Looks like they do not have a lot of money and run mainly off donations but for a small aquarium they do a great job. I do not recommend the magic show however. It was short and very cheesy (for lack of a better word).

I hate to not give this place a better review. One suspects the staff puts in good effort and they care about the residents. However, it looked like it had seen better days. Decently educational exhibits, and some very interesting fish. However, I struggle when I see intelligent animals in areas that seem far too small for them. Penguins in inner display with seemingly no access to sun or fresh air, and not a big area as it was. Harbor seals outside at least have sun but very small area, but worst was the sea lions. To some it may look like a big enclosure but truly for size and intelligence of these beautiful creatures, it is not. Great sea lion show, much enjoyed, but watching the one sea lion left behind at show's end keep going to the door through which trainers appear over and over again was kind of heart breaking.

Overall a nice aquarium. As many reviewers have said on the small side. Good choice for young children. The regular admission price is a bit high for what is there but we bought an annual family membership deal for $25. We will go back again at least once if not twice throughout the year because of the me membership.

Be sure and take the trolly to this site, as it is a bit of a walk through construction. Not sure I would see it separately, but was OK, since it was included in the pass.

We enjoyed a short visit to the aquarium at Niagara Falls. It is smaller than aquariums in large cities, but there are a fair amount of aquatic animals to see including some cute penguins and seals. If you're there at the right time you can see the staff feeding the seals. Expect to spend about an hour or two looking at the exhibits. Overall, the Niagara Falls aquarium is a nice quick stop, especially on a hot day.
