Just like going back in time, 2 of us ate a wonderful fresh breakfast for $9.40. Service was great...just like the old days they called everyone Honey!!

This is not a place to eat - it’s a place to experience what the real Niagara Falls, N.Y. Is all about. This place is frozen in time from at least the 1950’s, if not earlier. And not by design. It’s not one of those « throw back » themed restaurants pretending to be something. It is a diner that is from another time and place, and doesn’t try to trade on that. It just operates the same way it always has. It only takes cash; it has a huge menu, yet i think only two items were $5 or more; the service is fast and efficient, and they’re busy, so they expect you to order, be ready, eat and get moving; and they close at 1:30 because that’s when breakfast and lunch would be over with in 1950. Why would any restaurant stay open later?

It’s a working diner, not remotely tourist-related. If you don’t appreciate that environment, this will never be for you. For travelers from out of town, who come to Niagara Falls, N.Y. Expecting a tourist atmosphere - you know you’re disappointed. The Canadian side has all that. The NY side has a terribly aged city unsure how to proceed on tourism. If you want to experience what a working class city was like, IS like, you should wander in here and just soak in the experience. It’s the most real « attraction » you’ll see while visiting. But also, if you want an excellent meal, made with real food, for ridiculously low prices, go here. It’s the type of menu where you could eat at this place everyday and not be bored with the choices.

You may see the mighty Niagara Falls while visiting, but THIS is the thing you’ll still be talking about twenty years from now.

We were a group of friends stopping by for a quick breakfast on our way out of town and all four of us agreed that it was the best breakfast food we had in a long time. Great coffee, and eggs. The service was great, the staff very friendly and great prices. Thank you once again for the best start to our morning!
