“WHAT?? In a Super 8!!!”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

I'd like a room with a pool view is a perfectly reasonable request. The place seats about 26 people. It was packed. I got lucky and got a table. After mine they were turning people away. Everything was smashing. From the bread with beans and balsamic to the blue Cheese dressing all the way up to the most capers I have ever seen on Veal Piccata. How can their's be that much better than mine? Even the Tiramisu was stunning. If I had to complain about something it would be that the Tiramisu plate was warm. If you saw how mall the kitchen was you'd let that slide too.

“Hidden Gem is right!”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

We had also read the review on this restaurant and so had our innkeepers daughter in Clarence, NY where we were staying. We were unsure but we ran across it almost by accident. Wow! Fabulous food, wine and service. So what if it's in the base of a motel 6 or whatever....it's great!

“Cozy,good service,great food!”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

"Found" this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to try it due to the raving reviews. My experience turned out to be better than what was described by some others. I made reservations for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday October, 7 2012. We were a party of four and when we arrived our table was waiting for us and we were served shortly after. The food(salad and soup as well) was very good. The restaurant felt cozy. The room was small but you were not cramped. We celebrated the coming of my daughter's sixteenth birthday(October 12) and when the waitress brought out a slice of cake and lit a candle, all of the other diners sang "Happy Birthday" along with us. It was good to see that they cooked the food in an open area(nothing to hide). Although the general complaint is that this place is a whole-in-the-wall I think that that is what allows the owner to serve quality food at such a reasonable price-small orders also mean less chance for mistakes and more attention to content.

“Best tasting Italian”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Small seating area so make a reservation early. The dishes were excellent. You might have been in Italy eating dinner. The Chef came out and talked with each table getting an on the spot review of the food. All staff was friendly and prompt with any request. Would reccommend to all of my friends.

“Not a meal a dining experience”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

Celebrated the birthday of 3 close friends at Villella's this week and had an amazing dinner. Be sure and call for reservations, they have a small dining room. Don't let the location of this restaurant in a Super 8 motel hallway fool you.... the food is superb... wait staff is a little slow but its worth every minute of it when your food arrives. Be sure and have their award winning Rice balls... and everything on their extensive menu is delicious. The owner stops and visits with guests and ensures that you are happy with your meal.... kitchen staff visible through an open window into dining room and chatted with us also after our meal. Great place to dine near the casino and well worth a visit.
