“waste of time”

Niagara Falls Discovery Center
Attraction details

It's not worth going here don't spend the money to go here only if you have the discovery pass there is nothing to see all they have is a few artifacts a movie which I do say was pretty cool and a fake elevator where they cramp people into and make it feel like your going down the gorge of the falls. VERY BORING! Oh one more thing they where working on there parking lot so we had to park at the aquarium and walk the bridge.

Plenty of hands-on learning. You can also watch the free movie included with admission or ride the elevator and learn (without reading) about how the gorge was created and about each layer of rock. This would be a great school trip location.

Even the employees seemed to regard this as a place to pay for and catch the trolley. It is NOT the hands on experience advertised.

Some of the information was interesting but the exhibits were poorly maintained and some did not even work. It is only a few dollars to get in and since we had the Discovery Pass it felt like it was free. Go for the trails, be warned though turn around at the end of the trail and follow it back.

this is out of the way (unless you're hiking that way) and a bunch of the exhibits were broken. High school science and the Discovery Channel cover everything that's there. Save the time and relax by the falls and listen to the water.
