Niagara Falls Discovery Center
Attraction details

Some of the information was interesting but the exhibits were poorly maintained and some did not even work. It is only a few dollars to get in and since we had the Discovery Pass it felt like it was free. Go for the trails, be warned though turn around at the end of the trail and follow it back.

this is out of the way (unless you're hiking that way) and a bunch of the exhibits were broken. High school science and the Discovery Channel cover everything that's there. Save the time and relax by the falls and listen to the water.

This was a small diy walkthrough museum that was extremely informative regarding how Niagara gorge and falls were formed and what has been found in it's wake. My kids enjoyed the fossils very much, the videos less so. There is an interesting elevator experience taking you down through the layers of rock in the gorge.

The discovery center is more of a museum of the falls area. It includes a lot of historical information and is interesting but not presented in the most interesting ways. It's mostly reading long paragraphs of explanations, not multimedia/interactive or anything that children would be interested in for very long. It's definitely geared towards an adult's attention span - and one that has time to kill in an air conditioned room at that.

Would like to have seen it but unfortunately it wasn't open the days we were at the falls. Included in the pass, and no discount given on the tickets. They just said it was closed so not to go there.
