The Giacomo Hotel in Niagra Falls is an excellent hotel. We had one of their King rooms. Honestly I thought the room was small. There was a king bed,a long desk and chair beneath the windows with a large flat screen tv on it . This made it hard to look out the windows. There was also a small couch and coffee table at the foot of the bed and next to the desk. As you walked into this room there was a small cabinet to the left with a sink. and a small fridge in the cabinet and kerig coffee machine on top. One medium size closet to the right of the entrance. All this gave us little walking area. However, the bathroom was quite large with stand up shower with an all glass surround, a large jetted tub and a large one sink vanity plus the toilet.
This being said the service was great. A large self serve hot or cold breakfast and waffles made to order each morning. There is a bar, a sitting area to read or watch tv off the lobby and valet service is also an amenity. A gym and an closed in observation room on The upper floor where you can see the Falls at night all lit up and the fireworks display nightly. This hotel is not a hotel I would suggest if you have young children. The Giacomo is in part half residential and half for visitors. Every attraction in the area is in a 10 a 15 minute walk, very convenient. The bed was very comfortable, their staff was excellent and met all our needs and very polite also very clean. We would definitely return to the Giacomo Hotel.

Interesting architecture, but rooms are very dark. Nice staff. Near everything you'll want to see. Dogs are allowed ($25.fee). Good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast included. Free valet parking. A good place to stay.
