“THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! IT'S APPALLING!”
Reviewed June 29, 2012

The staff at this hotel was dismissive, and disrespectful to women. They were unfriendly, un co-operative, and treated their customers with a bland, offensive attitude. The air-conditioning in the lobby didn't work. That was especially noticeable considering the rude front desk worker was slow, dismissive, and it took forever to get our reserved rooms. The rooms smell like fresh ash-trays, even in a non-smoking area of the hotel. If you go to complain or ask a question, you will not be treated with the respect you deserve as a paying customer, especially if you're a woman. The blankets are cheap and scratchy. the air-conditioners in the rooms are noisy and leaky. The rooms had wallpaper TAPED together! The rooms themselves were pathetic, and worsened my Niagara Falls experience. The hotel together was terrible, but my biggest reason for never returning will definitely be because the staff was so rude.

Room Tip: DON'T GO! If you must, make sure there is a person there who knows how to win an argument, becau...

We ended a trip to the east coast at Niagara Falls and had the misfortune of staying at this hotel. The entire hotel has a funky smell to it. The lobby was about 110 degrees and smelled VERY bad. Our room was dirty and unkept. There were places on the wall where wallpaper was TAPED together. There was mold in the shower. Travelling with children, we always choose a hotel that advertises a continental breakfast as it is so much easier. Well, there is NO breakfast here, even though they still advertise it on their website. When asked, they recommend their hotel restaurant, which is dirty looking and where we did not see ONE customer. Also, for those of you with children....NO POOL!!! Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else. Econolodge for me? Never again!!

Econo lodge at rainbow blvd #200, Niagara falls was one of the nightmare for us. This lodge is pakka desi lodge and the room was horrible smelled with dust. The comforters had stains (urinated, few blood spots). I highly not recommend to anyone. Even the bathroom is very conjusted and really feels very uncomfortable. Only vantage point is its located very close to the falls....but in this regard I think one can find better hotels than this in the same price range.

This place needs a lot of attention! Pretty shabby and sad. However, we only crashed here for two nights and didn't really spend a lot of time in our room, so we put up with the place and it's poor service. Bring flip-flops or sandals to wear in the shower! Free breakfast was very sparse and opens later than the listed time on weekends. Most of the sights on the Niagara Falls NY side were within convenient walking distance, thus the 2 stars instead of 1.

From both the outside and inside, this hotel is very run down. I have never slept on a more uncomfortable hotel bed. The sheets were worn and there were stains on the bedding. The website states that free continental breakfast is offered but this is not true. The shower was stained and some of the lights in the room were non functional. There is an Indian restaurant on the premises which smells very bad and seems to attract groups of men that hang out there around the doors late at night. By one entrance there was even a spittoon bucket, filled with tobacco spit, that reeked so badly we chose not to use that entrance. One of the most frustrating things about this motel is that there is not enough parking to accommodate their guests. When we arrived back to the hotel one night around 8 pm, we sat in the parking lot for 45 min until someone finally left. Spend a few more dollars a night and stay in another hotel in the area. You won't regret it.

I visted Niagara Falls, NY and stayed at this Econo Lodge because it had good rates and in such a great location. The people that work there are very polite and helpful. The rooms where clean and had everything we needed for the few nights we stayed. There was also free breakfast, that was basic but great for no charge at all. The location was amazing, it was in walking distance of Niagara Falls State Park, Canada, the casino and alot of resturants, bars clubs and the Aquarium.

Room Tip: get as close to the falls as possible

We stayed there one night in two rooms. Party of four adults. Paid around $115/room with Breakfast. We were sorry to have done that to my parents….
The grounds are in poor state and everything that we saw screams “clean/fix me”.
The rooms are barely acceptable. We are not picky travelers, especially for a one-night stay. The bathrooms are almost filthy.
The breakfast is in a dingy canteen style room, but offers tolerable food.
There is an Indian restaurant on premises, under the rooms in one of the buildings, and the whole area smells like curry.
My Mom forgot a travel charger plugged in a receptacle in their room. We called the hotel within 2 hours of checkout and asked nicely for the charger—the travel charger could not be found!?!

Room Tip: Cons: Very poorly maintained, Dirty, Expensive for what you get Pros: Great Location
