Everything about the hotel was decent except for the cleanliness of the room I stayed in. The room smelled a little funny when we first entered, but it wasn't as bad as other hotels I've stayed in. The real problem was when we turned over the covers on the beds, we found the linens to be covered with cat's fur and dog's hair. Also in one of beds, there was human hair. We reported it to the lady on duty in the office, and she brought us supposedly clean linens for both beds. Unfortunately, we discovered that one of the comforters looked clean but had bodily fluids on it. This is disgusting. This comforter was taken from what was supposed to be clean linens. We returned it to the office and requested another change.
We chose Econolodge because they stated in their ad that no animals are allowed and no smoking. The lady at the desk said someone must have sneaked animals into the room. It is obvious that the rooms are not cleaned properly, and the bed linens are not changed. This is an indication that the hotel is putting people into dirty rooms with dirty beds that other people and animals sleep in. The whole room had animal dander in it because something fell on the carpet between the bed and the night stand and when I picked it up there was cat's fur on it.More
