“spectacular view”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

This was a trip to both sides of the falls. As it was still April we had to do the behind the falls rather than the maid of the mist. It was still very nice. Lunch was included in this tour at a really nice hotel, buffet style. We had a nice tour guide (Joseph). We had to fly from New York to Buffalo then got on a bus to head to the falls. While we were there it snowed and made it even more special. We went to both Canada and the US sides and the view from the Canadian side was, I feel more spectacular. While it was a very long day it was well worth the trip.

“Incredible”
Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

In spite of the tourist trap attractions that surround the falls, we found the falls themselves to be amazing tributes to the beauty and power of God's creation. There are many scenic hiking trails within close proximity and I suggest you take some time to just walk around and take it all in. We were there just prior to Memorial Day and the temps, blooming trees and flowers, and lesser crowds added to he enjoyment.

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

This was my second visit to the falls. First visit 19 years ago! But the falls are still breathtaking. Definitely best viewed from the Canadian side. The maid of the mist wasn't running due to so much ice around, but we still had spectacular views. The town itself is pretty tacky, but don't let this put you off some of the most amazing views in the world.

“Natural Wonder of the World”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

You've heard about it and seen pictures but until you've actually heard it and been (nearly) in it - thanks to the Maid of the Mist you really have no idea what you are missing! Oh, and the light show is pretty great too!

“I live here. City of Niagara Falls is a disaster, but not the Falls.”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Lived here all my life. Nice little city until about 25 years ago. Nothing left now but the Falls. Take the Maid of the Mist ride. Visit Goat and Three Sisters Island, Bridal Veil Falls and Fort Niagara. Eat on Pine Ave at Como, La Hacienda, Michaels, or on Forest Ave at Fortunas. Whirlpool and Devils Hole Parks are good. Otherwise forget the city. Its a shambles.
