Owner description: Three magnificent falls, two American and one Canadian, mark the point at which the Niagara River rumbles over the Niagara Escarpment.

Really the grandest of places one could visit. The view is spectacular from every angle and its a chance to realize our insignificance in front of nature. A very beautiful experience, I would recommend this place to everybody. During summers, it seems that there is some sort of rainbow machine around since one can see multiple rainbows around.
Even though I visited the falls multiple times as I was staying in Buffalo, it never lost its charm for me. 5 big stars!!

You never get something as special as this at the Grand Canyon... Winter time brings a rare stillness to the shores of the roaring Niagara as, when temperatures hover around 25 and 30, the spray from the Falls encases the trees like an icy Saran Wrap (r) and if there's been a light snow, that freezes in too... In urban areas, decoraters spend thousands for the effect that here, a few weeks a year, Mother Nature provides at no charge...

I kept walking around thinking, this is it? The rush just wasn't there. It was pretty and exciting, but not the hype I was expecting THEN I went over to the Canada side. There I was overwhelmed with amazement. I highly recommend seeing BOTH SIDES of the FALLS!

Pictures in guide books do not do this justice. You have to visit it to get the experience. You feel the Falls as well as see them. Go on the "Maid of the Mist" to get up close (and wet!) and sense the raw power of the water. Don't forget to go at night as well when the Falls are lit up.

Although many say the Canadian side is better than the American side, we have quite a bit to offer. This is a great place to visit. Be sure to walk/ride all the freebies and enjoy one of the greatest wonders of the world right here in our own backyard!
