We eat here every couple of weeks. Their "Magnificent Seven" is a real deal two eggs, three pancakes, two sausages or bacon for only $3.99. Their coffee is good also and the staff is always friendly. They have a wide selection of items on the menu and even a senior menu and daily specials. If you're too full for their delicious desserts you can buy a whole pie or some muffins to bring home with you after your meal.

My Mom and I decided to have lunch at Perkins. The atmosphere can be compared with most diners. It was clean and pleasant. This is a great place for a break from work or shopping. All of the staff are friendly. We received prompt and courteous service.

I ordered the Tangler Burger which has just everything on it. (Angus beef w/ chesse, bacon, onion rings and red onions, etc.) and accompanied with french fries. This a great way to treat yourself especially if you are normally a dlligent dieter. My Mom order the Pork Chops which she really enjoyed. The portions were definitely satisfying, It was well worth the trip.

Been there twice for meetings, have used the meeting room which closed to the outside, very nice. Easy to locate and tons of stuff on the menu to choose from.

Perkins was a favorite place for my friends and me in my teen years. The food was good, fast, and cheap ($2.50 for eggs and pancakes). Now, you can't get those prices anymore, but the price for eggs and pancakes at this Perkins was a reasonable $8.
We stopped here while traveling from PA to VT, and came upon it by chance. We just stopped for gas and there it was!
The pancakes were light and not greasy, as I have experienced in other pancake places. The eggs were done perfectly. Of course, coffee at inexpensive restaurants is not typically very good, but the hot cocoa was very good. The omelettes were also very well done!
In addition, the service was good and conscientious. And the restaurant itself was comfortably decorated--a big cut above any Friendly's restaurant!
So if you're ever in Newburgh, this is the place if you like good breakfast food served all day.
