“They Close Early”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2013

My pet peeve, is when they say "we're open until 9PM or 10 PM and then you go out of your way to get there, and your 15 minutes early, and they tell you "Oh, the kitchen's closed ....."
Boy, does that piss me off!
This place actually sat us at a table, and then the manager (owner?) actually had the nerve to come over and make excuses that the chef had shut everything down.
Seriously, how long does it take to heat up a sauté pan ??
I don't care how good the food is, IF it is. I will NEVER be back, and I hope you die a slow, painful restaurant death.
Management should NEVER turn patrons away ..... Period. That is precisely how you go out of business. Fairly high turnover at this location .... hmmm, wonder why

“Tapas sizes with entree prices”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

Food was good, but really small portions. Two very small salads with two small appetizers and two glasses of wine for $88 is a little expensive. We would go back if the prices reflected the portions, because the food was good, but not really worth what you pay for. Also, not many options for people who don't eat meat.

“Love the New Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

We were thrilled to see the restaurant has reopened under new chef.We stopped on our way home to CT. From visiting family and are very happy with the changes. It is very pretty inside and we felt guilty only ordering just the burger with guryer cheese and fire roasted tomatoes and perfect frites on table cloths with fresh flowers. The menu had some interesting bistro fare. The panna cotta with black pepper caramel, sour cherries compo was surpurb. Service was perfect. We had a chance to speak to the chef and he asked if we had any suggestions to help lunch business. We suggested advertising and some special drink prices and app specials. He was so genuinely passionately about his food. This is a special place in a not so special city. I hope word of mouth gets out and it succeeds.

“Fantastic and attentive staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013 via mobile

I went there with my gentleman companion and we were so thrilled with the meal from beginning to end. We had the French toast, mussels, a red snapper and steak. Absolutely delicious! For dessert we shared the panna cotta and the beignets with cinnamon sugar and ganache dip. Definitely going back again. One thing I would suggest; the wait staff, although extremely polite and attentive, were a little shy and not familiar with the menu. I think they should be a little more polished. Other than that, wonderful!
