This is where you want to stay if you value proper service standards. The house is clean, beautiful and quiet, the service friendly but not fussy. Basically, it is a well oiled machine. The food is delicious and the innkeeper seems to strive to assist guests in finding restaurants and local points of interests that will suit them. I would consider this more of an Inn, rather than a B&B, just in terms of privacy. Most times, B&B's make you feel like you're really staying in someone's home, while The Denniston balances welcoming comfort with anonymity. Check out the views of the Hudson from the front of the house and the lovely garden at the rear of the house. The innkeeper's cats provide many photo ops if that's your thing. I would definitely stay here again.
