Stopped here with a friend as Newburgh is a good meeting point. Went for an early lunch on a weekday and the place was not busy at all. The restaurant had a modern New York ambiance... comfortable and professional. The view overlooking the Hudson to the mountains is nice. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was good and the portions were adequate. Nothing to rave about though. I would definitely stop here again for a lunch to try another item on the menu. Note that it was New Year's Eve and they were gearing up for a big bash. Another reviewer mentioned the possibility of a club atmosphere... I did not get this feeling, but perhaps something to look into if going on a weekend night.

Living in Albany, we often meet friends and family from the NY metropolitan area as it is at the half-way point. The restaurant has great river views, good services, and good food. They also have a very large tropical fish tank. It is about 10 minutes from exit 17 of the Thruway.

Was here in late November (2013) and it was clear that the upkeep of the place has been neglected from the nearly empty fish tank to the decor. The place is starting to look run-down, which is too bad b/c when it first opened it was a very pleasant place to get lunch or dinner. I wonder if they are just giving up on the restaurant aspects and focusing primarily on being a bar/club destination. I hope they attend to the other details that are apparent at noon that are more easily missed and dismissed by the bar crowd.

The food was excellent. Large size portions and everything was very hot, something I love when I am dining out. The views of the Hudson are spectacular. Look at the mountains and the Newburgh Beacon Bridge while you dine either in or outdoors. Service was exceptional and affordable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in here while visiting the Hudson valley area, on the recommendation of a friend. So glad we did!! Got there right around sunset, so we sat outside and watched the moon rise as we ate. Inside is fancier; outdoors is much more casual. Good happy hour deals, but you need to sit at the bar. I had the spice rubbed half chicken with garlic smashed potatoes and spinach-"; it was delicious!! Definitely worth the price. Husband was very happy with his cordon bleu flatbread. The view alone makes this worthwhile! Would definitely come back, without a doubt.
