“Wonderful Neighborhood Restaurant”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

The food, drinks, and service are first rate. The food tastes homemade, not commercial. They make their own pasta. The regular menu and specials are more than you could want to select from. It's our favorite Italian Restaurant in Westchester, NY and there plenty of Italian restaurants to pick from.

“agostino's, new rochelle”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

Took my wife and daughter here for dinner last week.
Neighborhood restaurant. The real deal. Great pasta fagioli, veal marsala, gnocchi and homemade ravioli.
Staff were friendly. Food was really good.
Definitely would go again.
Not a fancy place. But give it a try.

“Fantastic Calabrese Cuisine”
Reviewed May 18, 2012

I dined at Agostino's for lunch. It is a small restaurant, and the parking isn't the most convenient, but the food makes it well worth the trip. The lasagna is just incredible, and the homemade pasta alla chittara is equally delicious. Highly recommended.

“Authentic food and warm, friendly service”
Reviewed May 11, 2012

We live down the block from Agostino's and finally checked it out. I have a feeling we'll be back often. The service is very friendly - you're treated like family or close friends. The food is authentic Italian - you won't find chicken parmigiana on the menu because it's not an "American" Italian restaurant. The people around you at the tables will probably be speaking Italian and there might be a cute old man in the corner eating mussels. You'll feel like you're in Italy, right down to the delicious olive oil on the tables. The decor isn't over the top, the place is cozy and down to Earth.

For starters we shared a plate of chilled mussels, which were delicious. For the main course, I had cavatelli with swordfish and my husband has linguini with mushrooms. Both were excellent, and of course the portions were large.

The only 2 things that need improvement are this:
1. Desert was not impressive. I had a sticky cannoli that was average at best. The gelato selection is from Bindi - mass produced, generic ice cream. Not good.

2. The valet - your typical teenager looking bored outside a restaurant. Fine. But this kid was ragged - he looked unwashed and honestly, I wouldn't want him in my car. When we pulled into the lot, he was hunched against the wall smoking while texting and spitting on the sidewalk. It's not an appetizing sight heading into dinner and it's completely unprofessional.
