To begin with, the Ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the food is fresh and homemade. A simple menu offers familiar staples. It's a small, intimate atmosphere, so bring the kids only if they're ready to sit quietly and not disturb those who are trying to relax, work, or enjoy some conversation. I've been here twice; once for a busy party, and once for Sunday brunch. The decor is shabby chich with beautiful crystal chandeliers and cleverly suspended vintage books used as shelves to showcase various artifacts. They offer mugs for sale as well. Don't miss the the freshly squeezed orange juice! Overall, I found my two visits here to be very enjoyable and I would recommend this cozy little cafe to anyone seeking refuge from the hustle and bustle. Grab a hot cup of coffe with steamed milk, a pastrie, and a book and curl up on one of the couches. If you are not a fan of reading, you can just watch the people walking by. There's also an art gallery right next door if you're into environmental art. Can't wait to see what it's like in the summer! Check out their website: http://www.rpatisserie.com/ to view their menu.
