Stayed here in September for Family Day at SUNY IT. The room itself was average, but the bathroom shower curtain smelled so musty, we had to leave the bathroom door closed; we could still get faint whiffs of it even then. We checked in very late and were leaving early the next morning, so we didn't bother to change rooms, but I am sure that this is the case for other rooms. I won't be going back. For the money we paid, even the Red Roof Inn in Utica would have been better!

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else for a better room...

I have been staying here on a regular basis for several years, and while staff are extremely pleasant and accomodating, the physical aspects of the hotel have consistently gone downhill. Smells very musty and a lot of repairs need doing ... shower bars falling off wall, tissue holder missing off wall, shower and tub grouting is missing and appears dirty.

I stayed here for two nights with my son who was on a college tour. I just read the other recent reviews, and felt like they stayed at a different hotel. It is nothing fancy, but was clean and well-maintained. We are from Boston, so my idea of expensive may be different but I thought this was an excellent value (our last few hotel stays were at 5-star resorts). The pool is nice (again, nothing fancy!) and clean. There is a lifeguard on duty from 3-8pm. The rooms are a little small--but were plenty big for two. There is a jogging path across the street from the hotel which is maitained by the Kiawanis clus where were ran in the morning. There is a small room with a couple of treadmills and an exercise bike. A pretty good breakfast is included with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereal, fruit and juices. This is not the place for an extended vacation stay, but for a not-too-expensive few nights, it was perfect.

Did not care for the partially operating commode or the well water showers. 100% penalty for checking out before last day of reservation. The staff were very pleasant. However I will encourage people to stay elsewhere.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

If you just want a place to sleep that is reasonable, this is the place. The carpets are old and worn. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I reserved here a few days before arrival. It was a bit pricier than similar lodging in the Utica NY area, but I thought "Its a Ramada, probably worth the extra $$". But, this motel is truly overpriced. It is clean, the room was comfortable, and - a plus for families - it has an outdoor pool (which I didn't use). But: it is in the middle of nowhere; no view -- at all; all services are at least a five-minute drive; the attached restaurant is closed; it is so old and neglected; and downtown Utica is a 15-minute drive, non-rush hour. It would only be worth it at $60 or less, and I expect that there would be no profit in that. This motel makes me question the quality of the Ramada brand. In future, I will be very wary to reserve at another Ramada.

we Called Wyndham Reward to use are points was told it was a very nice place. It has a restaurant & bar. get to hotel restaurant & bar closed had to drive at 11pm to get food. Came in the hotel to room very very small for 4 adults door to bathroom wouldn't close all the way. The bathroom had mold in bath tub on wall & corners. The electric outlet was cover with black tape very unsafe hotel for health & safe issue.
