“Hidden & serene hiking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

Part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I love that Grimes Glen is hidden and feels like your own when you're there. However, it needs to be shared. Hiking through the water is so peaceful, and each time you arrive at a waterfall, it's more amazing than the last. Tip: wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet, and that have some sort of tread - the rocks get slippery when wet, which most of them are. Bring your bathing suit if you want to swim at the watering hole, which is at the foot of the second waterfall. And finally, for those that are looking for a challenge, use the ropes to scale the steep sides of the waterfalls - especially the second one, so you can keep moving on further. Grimes Glen is seriously perfect on a sunny or cloudy day!
