We had brunch at Lexington Square Cafe last Sunday. It was fine. Service was actually pretty good, and, though, it's a big open space, the noise level wasn't terrible. The only thing is that the food is just ok -- the French toast was more like fried bread with almost no egg in it, and the accompanying fruit salad was pretty close to tasteless. So, if it's in a good location and you don't care about the food, it's great. But if you want a really good brunch, I can't recommend it.

For no particular reason, I hadn't been to Lexington Square for a few years, but happened to be in town and decided to try it again. The food is better than I remembered, and the service was terrific. The dining room was busy but not full. I'm sure it can get noisy, but well worth the return visit. I had two appetizers; the spicy rock shrimp was delicious, and the Thai lettuce wraps were good. My boyfriend had the steak sandwich and loved it. We'll definitely be back.

Besides the food being delicious, the service is excellent. Scott, our waiter, was exceptional. We were four people and had the Thai chicken wraps, chopped salad and special salad for an appetizer. Our entree was the crab stuffed lemon sole, the branzini and the salmon. Delicious. The desserts were cheesecake, apple and cranberry crisp and pistachio ice cream. Love the entire menu. You can also get flatbread pizza, sandwiches, burgers or salads. Is it any wonder the restaurant is always busy.

We went to this restaurant tonight and were very pleased. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated at a nice round table. The waiter, Nick was very pleasant. The food was delicious. We started with lettuce wraps and butternut squash flatbread pizza. Nick recommended having it without the red sauce and he was right. The wine ( Malbec, and Sterling Chardonnay) were very nice. For the main course we all ordered fish and were happy with our selections. We had a 'sampler ' for dessert which we all shared. A truly delightful dining experience. We live on Long Island but will try to make it our business to come back here.
