Staff is friendly and the chefs talented and entertaining at this hibachi steakhouse across from the train station in Mt. Kisco. Our waitress was completely inefficient, which is inexcusable, considering waiters in this style restaurant have much less to do with the customers than at regular table service establishments. Exhaust fans were blowing on us the entire meal.
The portions of meat and vegetables in our hibachi dinners were very skimpy; the hibachi steak had many pieces of beef that could not be chewed, and even the chicken had some pieces that could not be chewed. We left hungry- a first for us at a Japanese hibachi steakhouse. In future, we will go back to our old favorites in White Plains and Hawthorne.
