“Incredible desserts for all occasions”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

This is the kind of pastry place every town should have. The chef will come out and tell you all about each creation. They are almost too beautiful to eat! The chocolate mousse is the best this side of the Hudson River. Absolutely wonderful for desserts, occasions and otherwise! This is not a restaurant, but a pastry shop, so difficult to put this review together properly :)

“C'est magnifique et incroyable!!!”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Who would have expected the incredible desserts and pastries in the side streets of Mt Kisco? Not me but a neighbor mentioned this place and it is astonishing. The chef is French (& French-trained) and his attention to detail and culinary artistry is clear in everything that they serve. We ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday and it tasted even better than the work of art that it was. The only way to fully appreciate my comments here is to just go in and try it...and you will see immediately what I mean.

While everything we have gotten there is among the best that we have ever had, their cakes and macaroons are our favorites. In addition to the wide selection of candies they have, their ice cream is a well-kept secret that will give Berthillion a run for its money any day.

“incredible desserts”

When you want something special this is the place. the desserts are delicious beside being gorgeous to look at. They will make to order with your dietary restrictions with a friendly smile. The staff is friendly and makes suggestions if you want to pair a desert with a dinner. In the nice weather you can even sit outside and enjoy your purchase. Desserts are on the expensive side, but worth every penny!!!!
As an aside, La Tulipe made Chelsea Clinton's wedding cake.

“Friendly French Fantasy Foods”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

La Tulipe is housed in a little cottage and the shop itself is small and quiet. They house the utmost in fine pastry and candy, heaven for a pastry collector like me. The chef himself will tell you the origin of each cookie and other treat, which makes it even easier to buy the whole shop and gorge yourself into oblivion. Unfortunately I'm dieting right now, but could not resist at least having 3 French macaroons: chocolate, caramel, and fig. Unbelievable.

“Gorgeous desserts.”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

La Tulipe is one of the best pastry shops I have ever been to. The pastry chef is a true artist and a testament to his craft. The cakes and cookies are as delicious as they are beautiful. I have had several cakes made to order. The Opera cake is my favorite. They have a great variety of cookies and savory crackers. I love the french macaroons. Fabulous. They also have a great selection of gelato and sorbet. Holidays bring a wonderful selection of chocolates.
Also available are croissants, brioche and the most delectable beignets filled with apricot puree.YUM. I love everything about this place. You get what you pay for...perfection.
