“Great falls, near the Glen, in a small town in the Finger Lakes”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Nice restaurant close by, The Falls restaurant, quiet walk below or above, nice little town. Falls runs well in the spring or after a rain. Close to Watkins Glen and State parks there

“Beautiful falls located in the middle of a block!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

See them by day and night. Bring a camera. Just a few blocks from Falls Motel. If you're not watching for them you could miss them even though they are large.

“Nature at its best, but timing is everything”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

The water was flowing at the falls, but it would have been more impressive if the falls were gushing... I imagine they are more active in the early spring with the snow meltdown or after a good, heavy rainfall. But this isn't to take away from what you do see, which is a great waterfall with a long drop down. Purely amazing. And there is parking right on the street. No need to for any climbing or hiking. Just walk up to the falls to appreciate it.

“Against the rock wall, the falls resembled a lace curtain”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

We were traveling with a person unable to walk any distance. To find a falls only a few feet shorter than Niagra Falls within a block of the main street is indeed rare. Since it had rained in the area just the day before, the falls was in generous flow, and the sheets of water resembled a lacey curtain, covering almost the whole width of the rock wall. We were very entertained!

Really pleasant place to view some lovely falls without having to go on a strenuous hike. Just park and walk to the falls.
