On our recent trip to Montauk, we decided to try Inlet as is was mentioned in Newsday as one of the ten best seafood restaurants on LI. They don't take reservations so the wait can be long, but we lucked out and got a table on the outdoor patio after only about 15 minutes. The menu is largely seafood and very expensive. But everything was excellent. The only disappointment was that I ordered a blue crab California roll and they brought a regular fake crab stick California roll i could get anywhere. I am not sure if that was the waiters fault or the kitchen. I asked the waiter about it and he didn't really do much. They did charge us for the regular California roll, but it was nothing special. The swordfish, sashimi platter, salmon and seafood penne were all excellent.
