Been coming here for years with extended family, over 20 of us. Vinny and his staff keep the place tidy. Pool and grills are immaculate. The small size of the resort keeps it quiet most of the time. The location has to be the best in Montauk. Fall out of bed and your on the beach or right in town. Fishing can be great at sunrise or sunset if the waves allow. Will be coming back for many years.

Yes, we are on the beach and short distance from all outdoor activities for all ages-fishing, boating, surfing, horse back riding, canoeing, golfing, tennis etc. We also are close to petting farm zoo and miniature golf- puff n putt.

Montauk was a mainstay vacation for my family for many years and Ocean Surf was always our spot to stay. Family owned, clean, quiet and on the ocean! We took a hiatus from Montauk for a few summers to visit other places but returned last week. Ocean Surf was just as we remembered. Still owned by the same family who remembered us and welcomed us back. While the rooms are small, the location (ocean front rooms and ocean front pool) attentiveness to cleanliness around the resort (pool cleaned daily, pristine bbqs) owners constantly around and checking to make sure everything is good. In a Montauk that has begun to change this resort maintains the family feel we so treasure from my lifetime of Montauk vacations. For as long as it continues to be owned by this family, Ocean Surf will continue to be our first choice for our family Montauk vacation!

We constantly supervise the place to make sure it is safe and clean for all our guests to relax and enjoy. We offer beach parking passes, towels, chairs and umbrellas to our guests for nominal deposit and a small rental fee.
We have virtual tour of the rooms and bathroom with dimensions for all prospective guests to view before they decide most of our rooms have 2 queen or double beds and fit 4 people.
We have an outdoor heated pool barbecue on the deck with picnic benches and lounge chairs for your relaxation. Thanks and hope to see you all in the near future!!
Great location, great Pool. We only stayed one night with our two kids (5 & 7) and they made friends in the pool. The rooms are on the smaller side, but thats ok because you are only sleeping and showering there. They have picnic tables and Bbqs right out the sliding doors, which is helpful for meals. And you are steps away from town. My little guy doesn't like to walk long so that was perfect. We recommend this hotel!
Thanks for your comments. We have plenty of pictures with dimensions of the room for all our future guests to see the size of the room. Most of our rooms have 2 double or queen beds and some with one king bed and a futon (queen size) our rooms fit 4 people.
We are on the beach and as you mentioned walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in the town. We have an outdoor heated pool with picnic benches and lounge chairs facing the ocean. We offer beach parking passes, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for a small deposit and a nominal rental fee for our guests. Thanks for your stay!!
We just returned from our 4 day trip to Montauk and our stay at the Ocean Surf, and we only have great things to say! We were warmly welcomed by Vinny and his staff, and we were nicely accommodated when we decided to stay an additional, unplanned night. Rooms were very clean and the property is meticulously maintained every day by a clearly very diligent crew. To top it all off, you are right at the beach, gorgeous views, great pool, and a short walk to town. We will be back!!

We have panoramic oceanviews from your room and you do not have to cross any street to go to the beach as we have our own beach access from the deck. Thanks hope to see you again!!!
Motel is right on the beach and close to town. Facilities are kept clean. Rooms are just average and extremely small. A/C unit is antiquated. Would be great if they provided beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. You had to rent them.
Most of the properties in Montauk are motels and we have plenty of pictures with room dimensions on various booking platforms in addition to our website to show the room size with the bedding arrangements and most of our rooms fit 4 people.
All our A/C units are new being on the ocean salt air causes corrosion making them look old. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas and towels as an amenity for our guests so they do not need to carry extra luggage the rental fee we charge is a small flat fee and not a daily charge as most rental companies do the fee is basically the cost for replacement.
