If you like paying a lot for small portions, then this might be up your alley. Some of us were disappointed with our dishes, but my daughter loved her sushi and said it was the freshest sushi ever.

We stopped here on a cold windswept day for a quick bite to eat. Sat at the bar and had a bowl of piping hot clam chowder and a glass of Wolfer's Rose wine. As foreigners, it was great to have a delightful chat with the bar attendant with a wicked sense of humour.

My wife and I drove 2 1/2 hours to walk around and eat. Went in and was told there was a twenty minute wait for 2 people. Yet not a soul in sight waiting. Told the hostess we would be at the bar. Say at the corner The bartender walked past us twice without acknowledging us. A second couple walk into the bar and take the 2 seats next to us and the bartender throws coasters in the bar and asks them what they want. They lost our bar tab and meal. Their loss, we are a guaranteed 20% tip.

On a family trip to the lighthouse after season (mid October) we found the C and C house for an early dinner. Our usual stop was closed for the season. We loved this restaurant. The fish dishes were fresh and interesting. Drinks with clams and oysters were perfect. Additionally the kids found foods they would eat. The casual atmosphere was just right for our group. It is pricey but this is Montauk. We plan to return in the spring.

you can't miss this place! After all you'll not be traveling to Montauk very often, unless you are lucky enough to own a property there! Food is delicious, preparation is fancy but respectful of tradition, and seafood is fresh! A bit pricey, but...again, you don't travel there every day! After all, exclusivity reclaims some sacrifice!
