“Long wait yet great food!”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

This place has a bar and restaurant and was casual but nice inside. The outside is like a little tiki bar and outdoor seating ( very casual). They told us the wait was 55 minutes but this place was packed every night and we waited about 2 hours. Once we got our table we were very happy with the service and food so it was worth it.

“The perfect lobster shack”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

Loved this place. Despite the fact that It was a rainy Monday evening, we expected a long wait according to most reviews of this place. We waited less than 10 min for a table for two. We sat outside on the deck under a huge umbrella--completely protected from the rain, it was a perfect table...separated from the noise and commotion inside, with a view of the boats parked right next to us. Delicious sushi with fish from local waters. Fabulous lobster. Delicious corn, and homemade fried potatoes. Absolutely the dinner I had been looking for this vacation. I'd go back in a minute.

“Classic Montauk”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

One of our favorite stops in Montauk. It still has the feel of Montauk of old, great bar seating inside or outside with fresh sea food right off the dock. My wife and I both had shrimp and it was terrific, again as fesh as you can find anywhere. Service was casual and friendly, made us feel right at home.

“Do you like swordfish or sushi?”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

We were back in montauk on August 8th, 2013 with our daughter and grandchildren and came back to this restaurant since we know it always delivers. If you like swordfish, this is the place to come. The fish is fresh and large enough for two(don't forget to try the horseradish cream sauce-put it on the side if you have doubts). Their own version of french fries and fresh vegetables makes this a meal without the need for appetizers or dessert. However, we did start with seaweed salad and an order of edamame-both very good. Our daughter who is a sushi afficionado had sushi and thought it was excellent. We could not pass on dessert because the peanut butter pie is excellent and our granddaughter decided to have a piece of key lime pie which turned out to be equally good(we all tasted it to make sure). If that wasn't enough our grandson ordered the chocolate brownie sundae which try as he might was even too big for him to finish although it put a huge smile on his face as he gave it his best effort.

“Somewhat difficult to find with GPS”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

One of the lighthouse (Montauk) guides recommended this place for supper. It was difficult to find, as our GPS was way off the mark; we finally found it by luck! There was slight wait for a table, but we were seated outside (would have preferred inside, but didn't specify as we were hungry). We both had the blackened tuna, which was the special. It was slightly over cooked, but the flavor was still good. Came with a salad, and side (no choices). The major negatives were that we were seated water side and the smell wasn't the best. We also had a very loud, rude and offensive table sitting behind us; it would have been nice if the management would have asked them to calm their language down or settle down. It was much better after they left. Was NOT a formal place; next to the docks. Price, even for the special, was high...but we were in Montauk/The Hamptons and it was expected.
