I remember when Dave's Grill opened. It was great that finally we had a consistent restaurant with excellent food. Great wine list, dinner selections are all fresh seafood. As well as some meat/pork selections for the non-fish eaters in your party. I remember they use to have the most excellent linguini and white clam sauce (I especially remember the leeks and the light
bouillabaisse broth with the freshest clams - not sure if this is now a special and not on reg menu). Service is professional, which is not always the case on Montauk, most places have a very young transient staff. Dave's Grill set the pace and it's great to see other restaurants followed his lead.
