It is a really nice get away from NYC. The hotel is really cool and trendy. It is a small luxurious boutique hotel. The location is great and the pool area is amazing. Perfect location to party. My girlfriend and I travelled there in august 2013. It reminded me the style of Ibiza. It was very relaxing and the weather was perfect. The staff was very helpful especially Nicole at the front desk who also speaks Italian. I definitely go back as soon as I'll be in Nyc again.

The party in Montauk is at the MBH. Hang poolside with new friends, rockstar bands and dj's. We saw DJ Paul Oakenfold and Young Empires opening weekend July 2012, and DJ Paul Sevigny Memorial Day 2013. The owners couldn't be nicer and more personable. The staff is beyond attentive. The bartenders are on. The poolside servers are lively. The desk help is extraordinary. The rooms are very clean very comfortable. The location is perfect. Cheers! See you this summer.

After they overcharge you and take a 50% non-refundable deposit they send an email informing you that there is a $500 daily charge to reserve seating at the pool. Turns out the pool is the last place in Montauk that you would want to be. They blast techno music all day (AND NIGHT!)long while guidos in fedoras hang out on each others shoulders fist pumping. Maybe that is your thing... if so..... go to the Jersey Shore and save some $$

Room Tip: as far from the pool as you can be

From the second we entered the lobby to our departure - the MBH surpassed all our expectations. friendly - over the top 5 star service. We had the dreaded "corporate event" during our stay and the staff didn't stop to make sure we were ok. From the coffee in the morning - to the linens in the bed - this was a brilliant place. We stayed Monday through Friday - there was a cool, calm vibe throughout the resort. Quiet - just amazing. Thanks for a great vacation.

Nice place but tis a lil expensive. Decor, ambience, staff all what one would expect. Met a really helpful member of staff who couldn't do enough for us (Chris), most other staff very nice and thankfully relaxed and pleasant. Some staff at bar bit up their own u know what but guess u will always get mutton dressed as lamb in hotels which are a bit on the expensive side, pity the training of these staff is not up standard of others but maybe it is more inherent nature of some people than training. ohh prices at bar bit expensive for poor quality wine, am ok with markups but please a little bit of medium quality wines would not go amiss.

Room Tip: Can be noisy at night so go further from bar area

Where do I start??? We never slept for the two days we spent at this Hotel!!! Why?? At the back of the room were two open vents to the street. All night long until 5am people were shouting in the street. We complained to the owner but nothing was done. The room itself was clean but very basic for the price. The shower had a curtain and the sink was in the room. Breakfast was not included in the price and could only be bought from a kiosk in the reception!!! Coffee and muffins. Also, you had to pay to sit round the pool!!! Will we be returning, NO!!!!!!!

Room Tip: One without open vents to the street!!!

Rooms are horrible. People sitting by the pool are sleazy and vulgar. There was one very young woman by the pool, wearing a golden bathing suit, with a very cheap looking weave, posing like she was some kind of goddess, with this creepy old man telling her what to do and taking pictures of her with his phone. Very disturbing vibe.
Bad service, rooms are tiny and their store offered some unknown organic beauty products that smelt badly.
Parties in the evening are of very bad taste and people try to dress to impress, but end up looking like they are part of a very bad reality show.
My girlfriend and I were disgusted by how dirty and sleazy the place looked. Never again. Do not waste a penny there.
