Last night we had a family dinner at the restaurant. Bairrada gets crowded very quickly and they don't take reservations. The prices are a bit high but the portions large. The meals come with fantastic bread and olives to start and vegetables, fries and chips. I ordered the skirt steak, which I had never ordered before and it was the most flavorful and tender beef I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the porterhouse steak which was not as tender or good. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is noisy. Pitchers of delicious sangria are worth ordering as are some of the desserts. I ordered the carrot cake and really enjoyed it. There is street parking or a parking lot in the rear.
It's worth a stop although there may be a wait for a table.
