“Great place for young kids or a date night!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Great service, helpful staff with big smiles on their faces. Great place to bring young kids (between 4 and 11) because the rides are made just for them. Go-karts are fast and the track is big...worth the price. Bumper boats make the park unique and fun. Great games and awesome prizes. Overall one of the best places for families on Long Island

“Fun place for kids”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

There are enough kiddie rides to keep little ones happy and they have mini golf, batting cages, rock climbing, and go karts to keep the bigger kids happy. They also have an arcade, although I prefer Chuck E Cheese for games, since at Chuck E Cheese every game is only 1 token.

“Bullwinkle's ghost is crying”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

I used to take my daughter to this little adventure park when she was a toddler. There were a couple of birthday parties we attended, and just for fun on the weekends. This was in the early 2000's. She loved it. It was called Bullwinkle's then. But remember the beginning of the recent Willy Wonka film, when all the characters in the amusement park disintegrated? That's kind of what happened to this park. Bullwinkle and all his friends are still there, as sort of dilapidated left over relics of the fun and animation that was. Now a bygone dream, they sit frozen in the eating area, where they once were alive and moving, speaking and entertaining the kids. There is none of that now. Nothing has replaced it. Gone also are the helpful employees, and safety concerns. We went recently, we were celebrating the birthday of a little girl, with her brothers along and some family friends. We did not do the big party package, and opted for some bracelets for the kids and buying a few tix per ride for some of the adults. I had seen the decline of the planned party pluses of this place for a few years, so i didn't want to spend the money on that aspect. As you might imagine, some of the outdoor rides were fun, they really are for little kids, no big thrills here for anyone over 12, but if you know what it is before going, you are not disappointed. The most disturbing thing i found was the safety factor. You would think that for a facility that's had to change its name due to an occurrence involving safety, the owners/managers would have more help on hand and more attention to these types of concerns. The go-karts are fun, and they did have two very helpful girls running them, but just beware that all the kids and adults who rode them, were sore, if not in pain, for several days after and the fumes from the fuel, were noxious. The batting cages were sparsely monitored. One employee came round once during the half an hour we were there. My daughter picked the medium speed cage, since the lowest cage was full with lines to get in it. The sign recommended that people wear gloves, but it was not mandatory, and we did not come prepared with gloves. There were none to rent. She observed where the ball was coming out of and how fast before she started swinging. Even backing up, way behind the line suggested, she still was hit by the ball several times. The pitch was slow in appearing, and you could not predict it, we think it wasn't working properly after watching other cages. It was hard to get a pattern happening. One pitch hit her hand so hard, that it turned black and blue on the spot. This was bad enough, but when we went inside to get an ice pack, we were given a cup of ice. The poor employee there, the only one at the counter, was selling tickets, explaining passes to other people, ordering food and possibly handing out prizes, because there was no one at that counter either. There was no one to contend with an emergency, or even to provide first aid. The place could be phenomenal. There are so few parks like this on Long Island. It needs care. It needs more employees. It needs a first aid kit with an ice pack. It needs Bullwinkle to come to the rescue.

“Local arcade/fun”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

They have a nice little space for kids to have some local fun. They have bumper boats/go-karts, and an indoor arcade. We signed up with their website, and get coupons every couple of months that are pretty good. As I have two small children, I am waiting for them to be a little bit older to bring them over. It's even a cute idea for a little date night fun!
