I stayed at the hotel over the Christmas Holiday. I was impressed by the size of the room, the lazy boy chair...a big plus I might add and a clean room. The furnishings were a little old but it's Massena NY, I'm not expecting the Ritz.

If you are staying in Massena and don't mind staying a few miles out of town, it's the best option available. The staff is friendly and it's clean.

The room was filthy when we got there and the clerk had an attitude problem. This
room was handicap ready as requested and the bed kept the wheelchair from the
bathroom, but we worked around that. The towels smelled musty, there was no soap in the room, we had to request additional towels. My grandaughter slept on the sofa bed that smelled horrible and was very stained. I think the room needs to be refurbished. We will not stay at this hotel in the future even if it means more money for a room.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Thousand Islands. Disclosure we had a free rewards night stay. They gave us an extra large room with frig, microwave, couch, etc.
The property is set back from the roadway and an interior corridor keeps street noise at bay.
Free local papers which is nice if you want to find out what's happening in the area.
Clean and decent and quiet who wants more?
Continental breakfast in morning average fare.
Staff checking in and out friendly. Normal rates are reasonable and it close to a casino, Canadian border crossing, St. Lawrence attractions.

This is my second time staying here in two years. Not much has changed. Check-in was easy, rooms are large and clean. They have updated the bedding and curtains since my last stay two years ago. They also replaced the bathroom floors with new ceramic tile -- very nice. As always, the room was spotless. The only complaint I had was that the carpet was a little worn out. Other than that -- no problems. We had a king room which came with a small refrigerator, microwave, and a VERY COMFY Lazy-Boy recliner. After a long day visiting family, it was great to come back to the room and relax in that chair! I've stayed at the Super 8 and the Quality Inn in Massena and neither of those had a nice comfy chair to relax in -- and they charged more. There was also a desk and chair as well as another small table with two chairs that we used to eat on. The room also has a iron & ironing board and the bathroom had some basic toiletries (shampoo, lotion, bath soap and facial soap).

This hotel includes free Wi-Fi in the rooms and also has a computer for use in the lobby. Included in the room rate were 2 free daily newspapers (from Massena & Watertown) as well as free continental breakfast. The breakfast was pretty standard -- cereals, bagels, donuts, waffles, coffee, tea, juices, etc. There was also a small fitness center - which I did not use so I can't comment - but they have one. Not bad at all!

Once again this little motel has impressed me with it's friendly staff, large and comfortable rooms, cleanliness, and the # of amenities included -- especially for an Econo Lodge. They had a sign up saying "Platinum Award Winner" and I'm not surprised by that at all.

Will continue to stay there when I'm up in the North Country.

Room was a good size, plenty of space. It was clean and maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for more pillows and they were brought to us immediately Breakfast was good - would have liked some fruit though.
