“One of many hidden treasures of Hudson Valley”
Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

This place is not only for dinner, but for the entertainment - finest jazz, blues and rock musicians play there. It is truly unique: settings (this is the building that used to be an old button making factory), the owner with his superb dedication to make something outstanding practically in the middle of nowhere, and very decent local food. However, if one wants to drink a good wine there - he is out of luck. The wine list is mediocre (wines are local as well) but it is compensated by usually great music and the exhibition of work of local artists.

“Unique Restaurant, Art and Music venue.”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

Overlooking the Hudson River in the tiny town of Marlboro, NY is an artsy venue know for its food made from locally-grown ingredients. The food is tasty and excellent and served in small portions. I've been here several time and actually enjoy their Sunday Brunch a great deal. While you eat your mouth-watering food, you are entertained with live jazz music.

If you go for dinner, you're best off making a reservation. After dinner is a variety of entertainers which changes each week.

People who prefer to dine outdoors can eat on the patio which overlooks a waterfalls that is so serene and beautiful, you never want to leave.

So make a point to come up from NYC or from Westchester or NJ to this artsy little town and come experience "Live At the Falcon." You will want to come back often.

“Great Music & Food!”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

Make the Falcon located in Marlboro, NY a destination that must not be missed in the Hudson Valley. Set in an old button factory, Tony Falco has made a first rate jazz and blues club that is worth the trip for any music buff. With a waterfall right outside by the deck, great local wines, beers, and food choices, and professional music that will blow you away in the perfect listening room environment. The musicians play for donations from a box that is set up in the back by the bar area, and the acts that play at the Falcon are top shelf blues and jazz acts that would command much more if they played in New York City. I fell in love with this place and plan to make the trek up from the city as much as I can to support these musicians and this fabulous establishment. Go the The Falcon!
