I've had Haiku's sushi on more than a few occasions and it never disappoints but I also like their entrees a lot. The asian spicy mango sauce chicken and the pad thai are favorites and the vietnamese salad is out of this world. The atmosphere there is only ok - it can get loud. The servers are only ok too - a bit harried. I'm scoring it as very good though because the quality of the food is so high.

Haiku, Mamaroneck offers excellent sushi and friendly service in a cool atmosphere. Haiku is actually a chain with six locations in southern Westchester. A couple of things that set Haiku apart from other sushi places are that they have huge ginger salads and entree portions. They also offer Thai and Chinese dishes, making Haiku an Asian fusion restaurant rather than a sushi place. One downside is that green tea and drink refills aren't free. While I like all of them, Haiku, Mamaroneck is not my favorite. The main reasons are that other Haiku's seem to have better food and specials. On the positive side, Haiku, Mamaroneck is spacious and does not seem to get as crowded as the other Haiku's. Overall positive dining experience.

The prices are cheaper than Koo but the quality is not as good. OK if you want to save a few bucks.

This particular Haikku has very good sushi and a lovely atmosphere. THe food is not as good as the Bronxville Haikku, and perhaps that is due to the chefs that are training, but it is all and all a good value with a great turnover of fish-so it is always fresh!

Overpriced for so-so food. Ridiculously expensive house sake. (twelve dollars for a large)
The sashimi was very flavorless. Probably the reason for all the unnecessary decorations on the plate. I was very disappointed when the "sushi chefs" are young college kids learning. Also, the best sushi restaurants are Japanese owned and not business minded Chinese. Will never go there again.
