Food is real good and don't miss the boat tour of the lake. My husband and I took the 11 a.m. tour and then had lunch lakeside. Very nice.

I grew up with Manhattan Jewish food, so I know what good is. This little place is an oasis in the Adirondacks. Everything on the extensive menu is truly authentic, from the pastrami, corned beef and Carnegie Deli turkey breast to the smoked salmon, bagels and knishes. The place is run by a husband and wife who has a lusious English accent. Her husband has a story for everything. Nice to eat by the lake. Don't miss it.

Loved the signs all over the wall in this place. Too many to recall all of them here, but clearly reflects an owner who is comfortable in shoes. The one that stayed with me was the sign thanking all US Service Personnel. They are entitled to 30% off the menu price. While this was generous, wounded vets eat for free here. More restaurants should make similar offers... we thought this was really great. Also like the breakfast as well.

Tiny little place but cool, good coffee, bagels, sandwiches. And the owner is great to chat with! And you can sit and watch the lake!

This is the tiniest little walk-up restaurant. It's like a little beach shack with one person inside fixing the food. I had a great veggie burger; my husband had a corned beef sandwich that he described as "fantastic." This looks like just a little ice cream stand, but it is SO much more. Check it out!!
